Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas
It was for the 2001 vintage that Emile and Philippe Casteja decided to create Hauts de Lynch-Moussas, the second wine from this château classified as a Cinquième Cru in the Pauillac appellation. Made from the younger plots whose wines were unable to make it into the first wine, it owes its name to the vines that dominate the château, with a double blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is also the fruit of hand-picking, long vinification and meticulous care, with ageing in new or old barrels.
