Château Lynch-Moussas

Pauillac

Count Lynch associated his name in the 18th century with the property of his in-laws. Moussas’s origins date back to the 16th century. The property was then composed until the 19th century of three large plateaus: Madrac, Moussas and Bages. In 1830, the Bages plateau is sold; in 1848 the Vasquez family buys Lynch-Moussas, followed by the Castéja family in 1919, then also owner of Château Duhart Milon. In 1970, Emile Castéja took over the Château Lynch-Moussas, a Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
