The history of Château Lalande is closely linked to that of Château Lagrange (3rd GCC), since the property was part of that estate until it was sold to its current owner, Gabriel Meffre, in 1964. This is a unique estate with a 15.5 hectare vineyard, which combines the quality of a particularly fertile and rich Médoc soil with the expertise of the Meffre family, who also own Châteaux du Glana and Bellegrave. A perfect blend of modern techniques and respect for tradition, Château Lalande is also one of the best value wines in the Saint-Julien appellation.
