Château Haut-Bages Monpelou
Château Haut-Bages Monpelou has been part of the Castéja family heritage since the 16th century. Château Batailley’s ‘little brother’ was once attached to Château Duhart-Milon, the family’s former property, before being separated from it in 1950. The Château was then bought by Marcel Borie from the Kressmann family, who had owned it from the Castéja family. The vineyard is now run as an independent estate by Batailley’s technical team. The wine produced is elegant and full-bodied, thanks to the careful selection of grape varieties.
