The Château Brane-Cantenac located in the town of Cantenac, south of Margaux and about thirty kilometers from Bordeaux, is a wine of the Margaux appellation, classified 2nd Grand Cru in 1855. The Lurton family has been running this property for 4 generations. The vineyard now has 75 hectares of vines and is in transition to organic viticulture.
