Maison Borie-Manoux had the pleasure of taking part in the Foire aux Seconds Vins in Bordeaux on Saturday, October 11th — an essential event organized by Terre de Vins and Cash Vin for wine lovers and professionals wishing to (re)discover the excellence and diversity of the second wines from Bordeaux’s Grands Crus.
On this occasion, visitors were invited to taste three emblematic cuvées from the Castéja family’s flagship estates — true reflections of the savoir-faire and elegance of their respective appellations:
- Les Lions de Batailley 2020 – Pauillac
True to the spirit of the Grand Vin, this cuvée captivates with its silky texture, fine tannins, and beautiful aromatic intensity — all hallmarks of Pauillac’s great terroirs. - Dame de TrotteVieille 2020 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
A second wine of remarkable precision, combining finesse, freshness, and complexity — the signature of Saint-Émilion’s limestone plateau and the expertise of Château TrotteVieille. - Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas 2020 – Pauillac
Elegant and charming, this wine expresses the richness of the 2020 vintage through a perfect balance between power and suppleness.
The event was marked by warm exchanges with many passionate visitors who came to discover — or rediscover — these exceptional wines.
Borie-Manoux’s participation in this event highlights our commitment to sharing the identity and character of our great terroirs through approachable wines that faithfully reflect the style and quality of each estate.
A big thank you to our visitors and to the organizers of the Foire aux Seconds Vins!
