Château Picque Caillou
Château Picque Caillou is located at the gates of the city of Bordeaux, in the heart of the historic birthplace of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
A close neighbor of the prestigious Haut-Brion and Pape Clément estates, this 23-hectare vineyard takes its evocative name from a gravelly terroir shaped by the millennia-old overflows of the Garonne River. In 2006, Paulin Calvet took over the day-to-day management of the estate and brought a decisive momentum that was soon recognized through the consistent quality of Picque Caillou wines by many wine professionals.
This wine stands out for its balance and finesse, and is a true reflection of the values of the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation.
