The Château Picque Caillou is located at the gates of the city of Bordeaux, in the heart of the historic cradle of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Close to the prestigious Châteaux Haut-Brion and Pape Clément, this 23 hectare vineyard bears the evocative name of a stony terroir whose millenary overflows of the Garonne are at the origin. In 2006, Paulin Calvet took over the daily management of the vineyard and gave a decisive impulse that was quickly noticed by many wine professionals through the quality and regularity of the wines and second wines of Picque Caillou.
