Croix de Moussas Médoc

Médoc

Croix de Moussas is a brand created by Borie-Manoux in reference to the Chemin de la Croix de Moussas located near the Castéja family vineyards in the commune of Saint-Sauveur in the Médoc. Médoc means ‘land of the middle’ because it is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary. The distinctive feature of the Médoc vineyards is the succession of small gravelly hills known as ‘croupes’ (a mixture of pebbles, sand and gravel) overlooking the estuary.
