Château Batailley

Château Batailley, a 5th Cru of the classification of 1855, is Borie-Manoux's and the Castéja-family's flagship. The name is derived from the battle ("bataille") that took place where the chateau and vineyard are today during the 100-years war around 1453.

Château Trotte Vieille

Trotte Vieille is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Emilion and has some of the oldest vines of Bordeaux as some of these are pre-Phylloxera and thus more than 140 years old.

Château Beau Site

Beau-Site means beautiful site: Chateau Beau-Site, neighbour to Chateau Calon-Ségur, lies on one of Medoc's highest points, and one has a fantastic view over the river Gironde. Beau-Sites 18th century underground cellar is one of the oldest in the Medoc and presents the perfect maturing conditions for a wine that is vinified with the same care and technique as a Grand Cru Classé.

Château du Domaine de l'Église

It is in 1589 that the name is mentioned for the first time in the "Vieux Papiers du Libournais", which makes Domaine de l'Eglise the oldest estate on Pomerols famous plateau. Originally property of the church, it was a hospice for people with a disease that were thus kept out of the city of Libourne.

Château Lynch Moussas

The Irishman John Lynch acquired the estate together with the vineyards ofwhat is today the neighbouring Château Lynch-Bages and had the chateau built in the 18th century.

Château la Croix du Casse

Chateau La Croix du Casse's vineyard is situated on the Southern edge of the plateau of Pomerol, on a terroir of gravel, sublayers of sand and veines of iron.

The small estate of Château Pignon, close to Chateau du Domaine de l'Eglise but already in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, produces fantastically fruity and intensive Wines.

The estate lies in the community of Saint-Saveur in Haut-Médoc, neighbour to Pauillac. Haut-Madrac's vineyards lie just behind Château Lynch-Moussas.

Château Haut-Bages Monpelou

Haut-Bages Monpelou is Château Batailley's little brother and has special cellar facilities in Batailley. The estate is situated in the heart of the appellation Pauillac.
